Early Voting Begins on WednesdayEarly Voting Begins on Wednesday<div class="ExternalClass58BFB6B34D64419D8C309556F5C66255"><p>​</p><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>Early voting for the City of Phoenix Special Council Election/State General Election begins on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The Special Council Election is being conducted by Maricopa County and will be on the same ballot as the State General Election ballot ONLY for City of Phoenix District 3 voters. The Special Council Election is to fill a vacancy for a term that expires Jan. 2, 2020.</p><p>Wednesday, Oct. 12 is also the day mail-in ballots will begin to be delivered to homes in Maricopa County. They are being sent to voters either on the Permanent Early Voting List or who requested an early mail-in ballot. Voters who are not already scheduled to receive a ballot by mail may submit a request for a ballot by mail no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. Voters can request an early ballot online at <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1310002/354103/18692/3/">Maricopa.vote</a> or by calling 602-506-1511.</p><p>The City Clerk's office is serving as an in-person early voting location. The clerk's office is located on the 15<sup>th</sup> floor of Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85003 and is open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. A complete list of early voting locations and hours can be found at <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1310002/354103/18692/6/">Maricopa.vote</a>. If your early mail-in ballot was damaged or spoiled, you may exchange it at any of these locations.
