Early Voting Begins on WednesdayEarly Voting Begins on Wednesday<div class="ExternalClass3C015F2408FD4F7485298F2E97EEC5E8"><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>Early voting for the Phoenix City Council Election begins on Aug. 2, and mail-in ballots for the election will be mailed out that same day. The election is being conducted by the city of Phoenix ONLY for Council Districts 2, 4, 6 and 8. Voters in these Districts will elect councilmembers to serve full, four-year terms.</p><p>Mail-in ballots will be sent to voters on the Permanent Early Voting List and those who requested an early mail-in ballot. Voters who are not already scheduled to receive a ballot by mail may submit a request for a ballot by mail no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18. Voters must submit a signed, written request to the Phoenix City Clerk's office to obtain a mail-in ballot for this election. Early ballot request forms are available online or by contacting the Phoenix City Clerk's office.</p><p>Voters in Districts 2, 4, 6 and 8 also have the option to vote early in person at the Phoenix City Clerk's office from Aug. 2 to Aug. 25. The Clerk's office is located on the 15<sup>th</sup> floor of Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85003 and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. If your early mail-in ballot was damaged or spoiled, you may exchange it at the early voting site.
