Voters Should Prepare Now if Voting at the PollsVoters Should Prepare Now if Voting at the Polls<div class="ExternalClass846C0F2023C941DEB675944DC474C5A9"><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>Because Maricopa County will be conducting the upcoming Phoenix Special Election on six Ballot Propositions, polling places will be designated by the County. These propositions will appear on the same ballot as the State Primary Election for Phoenix voters.</p><p>Polling places will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The designated polling place for each residence is printed on the sample ballot that was recently mailed to households of registered voters who are not on the Permanent Early Voting List. Voters may also go online to <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1384226/4119508/21991/3/">Locations.Maricopa.Vote</a> or call 602-506-1511 to find their polling place.</p><p>Accessible voting devices that permit voters with disabilities to vote independently will be available at these sites. As a reminder, every qualified elector is required to show proof of identity at the polling place before receiving a ballot. The acceptable forms of identification may be found at <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1384226/4119508/21995/6/">Maricopa.Vote</a>.
