Voting at the Polls and Where to Find Results for City of Phoenix Runoff Election
<div class="ExternalClass020B327559D7436AB6D6FAB20AEFE2F1"><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>The City of Phoenix will open 11 voting centers for the upcoming Runoff Election for registered voters who reside in Districts 5 and 8 to fill a vacancy for their Council seats. These locations, which can be found on <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1408229/4119508/9432/3/">Phoenix.gov/Elections</a>, will be open on the following days and times:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.</li><li>Monday, May 20, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.</li><li>Tuesday, May 21 (Election Day), 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.</li></ul><p>A map and list of these locations can be found on <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1408229/4119508/9432/6/">Phoenix.gov/Elections</a>.</p><p>Accessible voting devices that permit voters with disabilities to vote independently will be available at these sites. As a reminder, every qualified voter is required to show proof of identity at the polls before receiving a ballot. The acceptable forms of identification may be found at <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1408229/4119508/9432/9/">Phoenix.gov/Elections</a>. Those who do not present acceptable identification may vote a provisional ballot at the polls, but may be required to present acceptable identification to an election official by 5 p.m. on the third business day after the election. Voted early ballots received in the mail may be dropped off at any voting center location before the polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day.</p><p>Unofficial results will be released by the City after 8 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, May 21. The results will be displayed on <a href="http://lists.phoenix.gov/t/1408229/4119508/22008/10/">Phoenix.gov/Results</a> when received. The City will continue to process and tabulate early ballots and provisional ballots over the next several days after the election.
