The next expected release of ballot information will be after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28.</strong></em></p><p>Here are some important facts about tonight's Special Election:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>There are approximately 15,000 early ballots remaining to be validated and processed</li><li>Total ballots cast: Approximately 180,636 (which is the highest number of ballots cast in a Phoenix Special Election involving only ballot measures) </li></ul><p>As with all previous city elections, this process can take several more days to complete.
