City of Phoenix is Accepting Offers for the Sale of Sheraton Grand Hotel City of Phoenix is Accepting Offers for the Sale of Sheraton Grand Hotel <div class="ExternalClass51EC509AD6F64D16BD0459E5D025EBED"><p>​The Phoenix City Council has authorized the Downtown Phoenix Hotel Corporation to pursue opportunities to sell the Sheraton Grand Hotel.   Effective immediately, the city is accepting offers to purchase the 1,000-room hotel in downtown Phoenix.  </p><p>The Sheraton Grand Phoenix opened in fall 2008 and is the largest hotel in Arizona.  The 31-story hotel offers 1,000 rooms and approximately 112,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space, including a 27,000 square foot ballroom, as well as stunning mountain and downtown views.  The Four Diamond hotel is the first property in North America to achieve the Sheraton Grand status for its sophisticated design, excellent guest experiences and world-class location.
