Spanish Business Roadmap Program Coming to Palo Verde LibrarySpanish Business Roadmap Program Coming to Palo Verde Library<div class="ExternalClass217FE7B7A7264741B93356684ED78C7A"><div>Councilman Daniel Valenzuela and Phoenix Public Library, in collaboration with Arizona Women’s Education Entrepreneur Center (AWEEc) and Arizona @ Work, are pleased to announce Mapa para su Negocio will be offered at Palo Verde Library (4402 N. 51st Ave.). Also an 8-week series,this Spanish-language version of hive @ central’s signature Business Roadmap Program is a business educational program focused on providing the fundamentals of how to develop, launch, grow, manage and promote a business.<br><br>hive @ central, is an entrepreneurial resource center located on the second floor at Phoenix Public Library’s flagship, Burton Barr Central Library. hive @ central provides programming, business expertise, and networking opportunities as part of a free discovery space for business entrepreneurs. Since opening its doors in 2014, the collaborative has offered nearly 500 service programs for more than 36,000 individuals.  93 related startups have been launched with 139 jobs created as hive @ central has set the tone for public models to embrace Phoenix as a destination for success.<br><br>“We’re focusing on getting startups and innovators comfortable in Phoenix at the early stage, and what better way to do this than by transforming our library system into a hub for small business development and entrepreneurship,” said Councilman Valenzuela, chairman of the City Council’s Downtown, Aviation, Economy and Innovation Subcommittee. “Companies such as Apple and Intel started in basements and garages, so why can’t the next great Phoenix company start in the Palo Verde Library with momentum from the #yesphx movement.”<br><br>Content and expertise offered throughout the workshop series provides a roadmap for business plan development, accounting for small businesses, and marketing and branding plans.
