Phoenix residents interested in being appointed as the interim Councilmember must apply by close of business on Thursday, July 26. Potential candidates who are interested in running to fill the remainder of the term of the vacated council seat must declare their intent to run within ten days, by 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 28. On Aug. 1 at 3 p.m., the Council will select the interim Councilmember who will serve until a Special Election can be held.
