"Absolutely, Phoenix should look at Privatizing TSA Function": Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio"Absolutely, Phoenix should look at Privatizing TSA Function": Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio<div class="ExternalClass7AE1779F60B04E5E8A4CF05BBEDCC0BA"><div>​Luggage left behind, long lines, missed flights and frustration are just a few symptoms travelers have had to endure at Sky Harbor due to TSA failures.<br><br>"Phoenix should be looking at all ideas that would make our airport safer and better for travelers and one option is to privatize the TSA function," said Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio.<br><br>There are currently 22 airports across the nation that have been privatized, demonstrating that this a safe and efficient alternative that works for travelers. The process also must be approved and then monitored by the TSA.<br><br></div><div>"Some politicians are telling the public to be patient which is really telling them that they should accept mediocrity.
