Statement from Councilman Sal DiCiccio on the Passing of Senator John McCain
Statement from Councilman Sal DiCiccio on the Passing of Senator John McCain

"My family and I were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Senator John McCain this afternoon. Arizona and the nation have known John McCain for most of my adult life. I was one of his first staffers, he was my boss, and one of my earliest political heroes. Sen. McCain dedicated his life in service to this country, the State of Arizona, and our citizens with honor and courage. That legacy will live on for generations including, I fervently hope, with the eventual completion of his vision for transforming the dried-up Rio Salado into a verdant, thriving landscape once again.

My thoughts and prayers tonight, those of my family, and I am sure millions of people around the world, are with the McCain family."
