Statement from Councilman Sal DiCiccio: HUGE Water Tax Coming BackStatement from Councilman Sal DiCiccio: HUGE Water Tax Coming Back

"As predicted, Interim Mayor is bringing the HUGE $1.5 BILLION new water tax back for a reconsideration vote. Is this announcement her way of thanking hardworking taxpayers in Phoenix right before Christmas?

The new water tax increase represents a tax liability of $1,000 for every single man, woman, and child living in Phoenix. That's about $3,500 on average for each water customer account in our city. Don't let the media and politicians fool you-- this tax hike is massive.

The politicians who voted for this have gone insane and are showing their disrespect to you and your family who will be forced to pay this tax.

Special thanks goes to Michael Nowakowski, Laura Pastor and Jim Waring for voting NO on this new tax increase. They killed it the first time and we will need their help again to protect the hardworking people of Phoenix.

Special thanks to my colleague Jim Waring for ALWAYS fighting against these bloated tax increases and never siding with the tax-and-spend politicians on the council.

These other entrenched politicians don't care about the people who elected them.

I will let you know when the vote gets scheduled. And I will need your help fighting this new tax."

12/19/2018 3:30:00 PMNick Valenzuela602-495-5405
