This first phase of improvements not only includes a larger security checkpoint and expanded airline ticket counters to get passengers to their gates faster, it also features stunning new 60-foot floor-to-ceiling windows.</div><div><br></div><div>When I was growing up in Phoenix, one of the highlights of my childhood was going to pick up my grandmother from Terminal 2, where we could watch planes coming into the airport from the deck. Now I can’t wait to take my kids to experience the excitement of the airport in a new way – watching planes come in through the tall, open windows in Terminal 3 and observing the hustle and bustle of the runways from the Sky Train.</div><div><br></div><div>I’m also delighted the city of Phoenix is displaying the work of local Latino artist Frank Ybarra in Terminal 3. Frank lived in neighborhoods close to Sky Harbor airport and now has a chance to share his talent with the world.”</div></div>12/5/2016 11:00:00 PMDavid Urbinato602-495-5405
