Statement from Councilman Michael Nowakowski on Developments in City Lawsuit Against the FAA Statement from Councilman Michael Nowakowski on Developments in City Lawsuit Against the FAA

“Residents of central Phoenix got good news this week when we learned that the U.S. Court of Appeals has scheduled oral arguments for March 17 for our lawsuit against the FAA over their September, 2014 flight path changes at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. These changed flight paths – implemented without proper due process, notification and consideration – have been a constant source of suffering for countless residents and business owners in the central Phoenix area. Now we will have our day in court in our fight to get the FAA to do the right thing and fix the flight paths.

We will continue to work on all levels with a full Team Phoenix approach that includes our elected representatives in Washington, residents, neighborhood associations and city staff to reverse the flight paths. You can follow our progress online at skyharbor.com/flightpaths.”

1/13/2017 6:00:00 PMDavid Urbinato602-495-5405
