López Obrador, is visiting Phoenix, including six other U.S. cities, as part of his strategy to defend the rights of compatriots in U.S. territory against President Donald Trump's anti-immigration policies and the creation of a civic front against discrimination. <br> <br>López Obrador’s visit to Phoenix, Ariz. is in response to his commitment to defend and support Mexican migrants in any circumstance involving discrimination and violation of their human rights. <br> <br><strong>Councilman Michael Nowakowski will be meeting with López Obrador to discuss the local immigrant community’s growing fear of President Donald Trump's anti-immigration policies and separation of families. The meeting also will include a focus on collaborating to identify and make resources available for the immigrant community.</strong> <br> <br>As part of his visit, López Obrador will announce the creation of a commission of MORENA in the state of Arizona that will seek to protect the nationals, giving legal support, through a group of lawyers who will defend the migrants who need it. <br> <br>López Obrador also will be hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Plaza Las Tradiciones, 1602 E.
