The meetings are part of a capital needs assessment and feasibility study that the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture is conducting for a potential center. The Town Halls provide a venue for residents to share their ideas and opinions about Latino arts and culture in Phoenix.</p><p>"Latinos make up 40 percent of the Phoenix population and a cultural center would be a great way to recognize the contributions of our Latino community to making Phoenix great," said Councilman Michael Nowakowski. "Attending a town hall is a way for residents to convey their dreams and visions for a center and share their passion for Latinos' contributions to Phoenix  -- from visual and performing arts to culinary arts."</p><p>Comprehensive information on the vision process for the Latino Cultural Center is <a href="/arts/Latinoculturalcenter"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">available online</span></a>.
