Councilman Michael Nowakowski Announces the Opening of Paw-Pup Park in Downtown Phoenix Councilman Michael Nowakowski Announces the Opening of Paw-Pup Park in Downtown Phoenix

"I am very excited to announce a new, highly-anticipated temporary park will be opening in Downtown Phoenix on Monday, March 18. Paw-Pup Park, a canine activation area, will open just west of the Phoenix City Council Chambers in the heart of Downtown Phoenix.

Downtown Phoenix has seen tremendous residential growth in recent years and with the area's first grocery store completing construction later this year, it is important we continue to provide other residential amenities to our residents who live, work, and play downtown.

This project serves as a perfect example of my Team Phoenix approach where the City, community and private partners come together to provide first-class services to our residents. I'd like to thank the city of Phoenix staff, Downtown Phoenix Partnership, PetSmart Charities, and residents who came together to build this outstanding public project.

I look forward to the activation of this open space and encourage everyone and their canine companions to come and check out the soon to be open Paw-Pup Park."

3/11/2019 8:30:00 PMNick Valenzuela602-495-5405
