Councilmembers Nowakowski and Mendoza Invite Residents to the Fifth Annual “Star Spangled Celebration” Honoring Fallen Officers, Fire Fighters and Military Veterans Councilmembers Nowakowski and Mendoza Invite Residents to the Fifth Annual “Star Spangled Celebration” Honoring Fallen Officers, Fire Fighters and Military Veterans <div class="ExternalClass24B6D30FE0184037BB859750BAAD83EA"><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>Councilmembers Michael Nowakowski and Felicita Mendoza invite residents to the Fifth Annual "Star Spangled Celebration," honoring our fallen police officers, firefighters and military veterans from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Cesar Chavez Park, 7858 S. 35th Ave. (at Baseline Road).<br></p><p>This free, family event features a fireworks display, raffles, live music, food trucks, a bike rodeo, police and fire demonstrations, city department information booths and inflatable bounce houses.
