Update from Councilman Michael Nowakowski on Hermosillo Sinkhole Recovery Efforts Update from Councilman Michael Nowakowski on Hermosillo Sinkhole Recovery Efforts <div class="ExternalClassBB99BDB6E9514567A73E7C2E45351D0E"><p>​“On Friday, I led a team consisting of myself, Councilwoman Betty Guardado and Phoenix Fire technical advisors to assist in the search for a man who went missing after falling into a sinkhole last Monday in the city of Hermosillo, Mexico.  </p><p>Over the weekend, I received an update from our Sister City, Hermosillo, that the remains of the missing man had been located. While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, I am grateful that we now have closure for family and friends. <br></p><p>I want to thank everyone involved in the rescue and recovery efforts.
