I have been a supporter of expanding the city’s non-discrimination ordinance from the very beginning, providing public testimony in its support. We knew legal challenges were possible, but we were backed by the popular support of our residents who want a city that respects the basic dignity of everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Our desire for a Phoenix that promotes equality and embraces diversity was validated today at the Arizona Court of Appeals. Our victory would not be possible without the support of our residents, businesses, and legal team who successfully argued the merits of our non-discrimination ordinance.”

6/7/2018 7:00:00 AMNick Valenzuela602-495-5405
