The community has long asked for these tools of accountability and transparency within the Phoenix Police Department and today it became a reality. This afternoon’s action will not only increase the safety of our community but also the safety of our police officers. I’d like to thank Chief Williams and Assistant Chief Kurtenbach for their commitment to making body-worn cameras a priority within the Police Department. Additionally, I’d like to thank the members of the Community Police Trust Initiative and community for their input.”

2/7/2019 1:00:00 AMNick Valenzuela602-495-5405
