Wells Fargo Youth Internship Program and Jerome E. Miller Youth Leadership Academy Now Accepting Applications
<div class="ExternalClassB588D97340944CDD8B477932DBE7C210"><p>The City of Phoenix in partnership with Wells Fargo Community Banking offers a 5 week-long paid internship to youth ages 18-24. Interns will participate in a formal internship program that includes performing various assignments to become familiar with the organization and gain basic work experience. Program requirements are:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Must be 18 years old</li><li>Available starting June 20, 2016</li><li>Must be currently enrolled in school</li><li>Must be able to pass background check and finger print</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to Downtown Phoenix </li><li>Customer service and retail experience a plus! </li></ul><p>The Jerome E. Miller Leadership Academy was developed to commemorate the leadership, service, and legacy of the former Phoenix Deputy City Manager. The goals of the academy are to expose high school juniors and seniors to careers in public service. The program endeavors to fuel and diversify the pipeline for public service, prepare students for college, career and life success. Students must be a Phoenix resident and available all day Monday to Friday for two weeks starting mid-June.
