Small Business Owners Invited to “Protecting Your Business” - Cyber Security Forum
<div class="ExternalClass8370DBB0502B43FF8E1944D8E79E5D46"><p>October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and the city of Phoenix Community & Economic Development Department will convene a forum of experts to talk about cyber threats that small and mid-size businesses face and ways to safeguard against them. The event takes place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 28 at the Pulliam Auditorium at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.</p><p>The FREE event will feature opening remarks by Councilman Daniel Valenzuela and an interactive panel discussion with a team of experts, which include Cyber-crime investigators, legal experts, technology industry leaders and other notable speakers. </p><p>There are nearly 13,000 small to mid-size businesses in Phoenix that are key to the foundation and growth of our city. Cyber-attacks continue to increase significantly for businesses of all sizes and small businesses are especially vulnerable. </p><p>Small business owners are invited to join us to receive expert tips and learn about resources that will help protect their clients and their businesses. </p><p>Register at <a href="https://phoenix-cybersecurity-forum.eventbrite.com/"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">https://phoenix-cybersecurity-forum.eventbrite.com</span></a>.
