Luke AFB currently hosts 76 of America's most innovative fighter jets, the F-35. The F-35 program is not only an important function of our national security, but it's also a significant job creator in our region and state. Arizona is home to roughly 30 suppliers to the program that supports more than 7,000 direct and indirect jobs. Phoenix benefits significantly from this program, and ensuring its continued production is critical to our development and economic growth."

Mayor Thelda Williams currently serves as a member of the Luke Air Force Base West Valley Council.

-30-

10/20/2018 1:20:00 AMRaquel Estupinan(602) 261-8823
