Free Hands-On Paint Sprayer Training OfferedFree Hands-On Paint Sprayer Training Offered<div class="ExternalClass7901D47976BF4219B36F76291E1D95B2"><p>Staff from the city's Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) will host a free paint sprayer training session from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at the NSD West Facility, 3325 W. Flower St.  Learn how to use the equipment and reserve it now for a community cleanup to do your part for #GraffitiFreePhoenix, a citywide effort to reduce graffiti in Phoenix.</p><p style="text-align:left;">During the two-hour session, residents will watch a video on how to safely operate a paint sprayer and receive hands-on instruction.  Once attendees are comfortable with the equipment, they will remove graffiti at a nearby location.  </p><p style="text-align:left;">Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to use a paint sprayer free of charge for community clean-ups.  As a reminder, paint and supplies for community clean-ups and blight removal are free of charge to neighborhood associations listed with Neighborhood Services.  </p><p style="text-align:left;">Residents must wear casual clothing to the training session as they may get paint on their clothing.  </p><p style="text-align:left;">For more information or to register for this class, visit <a href="https://phoenix.gov/nsd/neighborhoodcollege">phoenix.gov/nsd/neighborhoodcollege</a> or call 602-534-4444.</p></div>4/29/2015 7:00:00 PMStephanie Romero, 602-510-3581Neighborhood Services602-534-4444
