Phoenix to Celebrate Mayoral Inauguration for Kate Gallego at Historic Orpheum TheaterPhoenix to Celebrate Mayoral Inauguration for Kate Gallego at Historic Orpheum Theater<div class="ExternalClass6AB0B25275F24193933C4D7A550AC05A"><p>The public is invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony for newly-elected Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Orpheum Theater, located at 203 W. Adams St. </p><p>The Mayor will take the oath of office and be sworn in by Chief Presiding Judge B. Don Taylor III. Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Mayor will give her inaugural address.<br></p><p>The ceremony will also include musical performances by Mariachi Rubor and Bragg About It Performance Troop, the posting of the colors by the Phoenix Police and Fire Honor Guard, and readings by Arizona's Inaugural Poet Laureate Alberto Álvaro Ríos and Gila River Indian Community Governor Stephen Roe Lewis. <br></p><p>Portions of the ceremony will be streamed live via the city's Instagram page. PHXTV will rebroadcast the ceremony on Ch. 11 on Cox Cable and on the city's YouTube channel. <br></p><p>Media parking will be available on the east side of 2nd Avenue and Adams Street.
