UNION VOTES TO ACCEPT DEAL AND RETURN TO WORK SATURDAY UNION VOTES TO ACCEPT DEAL AND RETURN TO WORK SATURDAY <div class="ExternalClass7691139ADFDD4AD195348E0E4A35AD2D"><p></p><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>Leaders of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1433 announced today that union members have approved a new collective bargaining agreement and will return to work Saturday, Jan. 16.</p><p>Limited service continues today on 13 local of the 34 Transdev-operated routes. Now that the union has accepted the deal, service will return to normal Saturday, Jan. 16 on all local routes and RAPID service will resume Tuesday, Jan. 19 after the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.</p><p>Members of the ATU have been on strike since last Friday, Jan. 8, affecting 34 Transdev-operated routes, about 60 percent of Phoenix's bus service.
