​56th Street Corridor Study Public Open House Meeting, July 18​56th Street Corridor Study Public Open House Meeting, July 18<div class="ExternalClassCD82C12917224D65AB68151608D7864E"><p>The city of Phoenix Street Transportation Department is soliciting public input for the <a href="/streets/56thstreet">56th Street Corridor Study </a>– the study is aimed at identifying improvements to make the corridor between Thomas and Camelback roads safer for people to ride bicycles, walk and use transit. </p><p>Area residents, commuters and business owners are encouraged to attend the second open house for this study to help shape the future of the 56th Street corridor.</p><p><strong>The meeting will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, at Veritas Preparatory Academy Lund Center Room, 3102 N. 56th St.</strong></p><p>Potential corridor-design features and details on the public input received to date for this study will be presented at this meeting.
