​Traffic Advisory - Street Restrictions for Teacher Walkout, April 26​Traffic Advisory - Street Restrictions for Teacher Walkout, April 26<div class="ExternalClassE6F6900B15304F82BE02510810A3DB8B"><p>The city of Phoenix Street Transportation Department is advising the traveling public to be aware of the street restrictions for the teacher walkout in downtown Phoenix.<br> <br>The march will start in downtown Phoenix and conclude at the Arizona Capitol. <br> <br>Street restrictions and closures will take place between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the vicinity between Washington and Lincoln streets from First Street to 17th Avenue. <br> <br>All streets at the start and route of the march are expected to be open to normal traffic by 1 p.m., Thursday, April 26. All other streets and driveways will be closed along the route as the march approaches and will reopen as it proceeds. <br> <br>All streets at the finish of the march (Arizona State Capitol / Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza) are expected to be open to normal traffic by 5 p.m., Thursday, April 26.<br> <br>If you are traveling in downtown during this event, please travel with caution, stay alert and allow for extra travel time.</p></div>4/25/2018 7:00:00 AMMonica Hernandez602-350-8853
