The workshop series is hosted at various Phoenix Public Library locations, and covers a wide range of water topics.</p><p>“Our workshops have grown in popularity over the years, which is a testament to the fact that more Phoenicians, and Valley residents in general, understand the value of water and are looking for practical ways to conserve it," says Phoenix Water Services Director Kathryn Sorensen. </p><p>The Phoenix Watersmart Workshop series includes:</p><ul><li>Water 101</li><li>Landscape Watering</li><li>Desert Lawn Care</li><li>Find and Fix Leaks</li><li>Hydrate Phoenix</li></ul><p><strong>Water 101</strong> - Learn more about where your water comes from, how water gets to us, how we use water, where it goes to and how Phoenix is planning for the future.</p><p><strong>Landscape Watering</strong> - Learn how to properly water your landscape to save time and increase the health and beauty of your plants.</p><p><strong>Desert Lawn Care</strong> - Learn practical advice for maintaining a healthy, beautiful, and water-efficient lawn.</p><p><strong>Find and Fix Leaks</strong> - Learn how to find and fix leaks that are draining your budget. <br></p><p><a href="https://watershedmg.org/learn/classes/hydrate"><strong>Hydrate Phoenix</strong></a> - This 5-week series workshop is offered in partnership with the <a href="https://watershedmg.org/">Watershed Management Group</a> to hydrate your neighborhood. Learn how to design an earth-friendly yard using simple earthworks and low-water-use plants. Each presentation includes a mini-project to create an action plan for your home.
