Volunteers are an essential role in Pueblo Grande Museum's mission of interpretation, research, and preservation.

Pueblo Grande Museum is looking for volunteers in the areas listed below:
Museum Docents lead tours in the exhibit galleries and through the outdoor archaeological ruins. Docents can also do fun and educational craft activities with school groups, provide outreaches to schools, and represent the Museum at special events. Needed weekdays and weekends.
The Museum Store is looking for volunteers to greet and assist customers with their purchases in the Store. Volunteers should be friendly, customer oriented, and comfortable handling cash and working with a computer. Needed weekdays and weekends.
Museum Collections Assistant
Assist the Collections staff in storing, labeling, and inventory of the museums collection of objects, artifacts and archival materials. Needed weekdays.
Assist with general library duties. Needed weekdays.
Assist with the on-going effort of preserving the prehistoric ruins at Pueblo Grande Museum. Needed on a limited basis.
