Jeremy Jackrabbit Header 


​Young artists in grades K through 8 are invited to submit original artwork for a new children's book by Sasha and Rodney Glassman, Jeremy Jackrabbit Travels Safely", highlighting the importance of pedestrian safety.

Artwork will be selected to illustrate the book, which will be published by the Glassman's and released in 2020. More than 50,000 copies of the book will be distributed free of charge – one for every kindergarten student in Maricopa County.

Contest Guidelines:

  • Artists must be in grades K through 8.

  • Artists will be illustrating images to match the story of Jeremy Jackrabbit’s adventure. Each artist may enter up to two drawings.

  • Contest submissions will NOT be returned.

  • Artwork may be in any medium: colored pencil, crayon, marker, watercolor, etc.

  • Artwork should be on solid white paper, no larger than 11” x 17” and the orientation should be horizontal. No lined or colored paper.

  • Illustrating the entire page is highly recommended. Fill up the paper with artwork!
