A recreation pass is required to sign up for classes, for classes posted “w/parent” parent is required to have a valid recreation pass.
Walk-in registration is available at most recreation facilities on a first come, first served basis.
We accept cash, check, and credit card. Exact change is appreciated (IMPORTANT: The City of Phoenix charges an $18.00 fee for any returned check)

All class information is subject to change without notice.
If a class is cancelled a make-up class will be scheduled whenever possible. Substitute instructors may be used to prevent class cancellations.
Children attending classes that do not require parent participation must be potty trained.
Parents / guardians of children in classes for ages under 6 years are required to remain on premises (but not in the class room) for the duration of the class.
Classes posted “w/par” requires the parent/guardian to remain (and participate) in the class with their child.
Classes not meeting minimum enrollment by the general registration deadline may be cancelled.
Participants will be notified by phone and/or email of a class cancellation.
Participants from a cancelled class will receive a complete refund or may be transferred into other City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation programs, providing space is available.
Refund processing takes approximately 2 weeks from notification of cancellation.
Recreation Pass (required)
All participants are required to have an active Recreation Pass to have access to any City of Phoenix community and recreation center. Parents are required to have a valid recreation pass if registering child in a “w/parent” class.
Youth (ages 0-2) $0 $0
Youth (ages 3-17) $5 $10
Adult $10 $20
*Resident refers to living within the City of Phoenix boundaries. The fee must be paid in addition to existing class, program and facility charges. Recreation pass can be acquired at any recreation center or on line here.
Any client who registers for a class or program that is cancelled for any reason by the Department may choose to receive a full refund or be transferred to a different program providing space is available.
Any client who registers for a class or program and who requests a refund in writing 10 business days or more before the class/program start date may receive a refund (minus a $5 processing fee if the class fee is greater than $10).
Any client who registers for a class or program and who requests a refund fewer than 10 business days before the class/program start date will receive no refund.
Any request for an exception to the refund policy must be submitted in writing to the Facility Manger. Email request.
