Public Transit Service Changes
The Phoenix Public Transit Department coordinates with Valley Metro to plan for, and implement service changes twice a year - April and October.
Six months prior to implementing any proposed changes, Phoenix and Valley Metro will coordinate public outreach efforts to gather public feedback on the proposed changes, as well as any other transit service matters. There is also a public hearing held at Valley Metro's downtown office at the end of each public outreach cycle.
