Boise Bicycle Project - Executive Director and Founder

Jimmy Hallyburton is a nationally recognized bicycle movement leader and executive director and founder of the Boise Bicycle Project. At an early age Jimmy pedaled out of his driveway for the first time and broke into what he now calls the "Speed of Discovery." With his feet on the pedals and a smile on his face, he soon discovered a world of freedom, opportunity, and community connection. Today he helps others discover that same feeling of freedom as the Executive Director and founder of the Boise Bicycle Project. As a member of BBP's passionate team of staff and volunteers, Jimmy has helped fix and distribute over 12,000 bicycles back onto the streets of Boise, including 5,000 donated to children. Some of the innovative programs he's helped create with prisoners, refugees, and youth in Boise have received national attention, and have been implemented in communities around the world.
