Project Description: This phase of Roosevelt Row was awarded federal Congestion Management and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds in 2013.  The design phase included extensive public outreach and community involvement including three public scoping meetings.  The scope of work for this phase includes: narrowing the street; installing new curb and gutter; widening existing sidewalks up to 20-feet; improving the existing right-of-way triangle east of 4th Street on the south side of Roosevelt; adding new LED street and pedestrian lights; adding bike lanes and several bike racks; planting drought tolerant shade trees in tree grates on the north side of Roosevelt and smaller trees in planters on the south side of Roosevelt due to conflicts with overhead APS electric lines.

Construction for the Roosevelt Street Improvement Project (Pase II - 4th to 7th streets) is scheduled to begin September 14, 2015, and will take approximately nine months to complete.  Attached is the preconstruction notice.
