The City of Phoenix will conduct a Runoff Election on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Registered voters who reside in Council Districts 6 and 8 will elect a Council Member, to serve a full four-year term beginning April 17, 2023.

This election is required by the City Charter and state law because no candidate for these offices received a majority of the votes cast for the office in the November 8, 2022 General Election.

During the week of February 6, 2023, the City Clerk Department will mail a Sample Ballot Pamphlet to each residence in City Council Districts 6 and 8 where there is a registered voter. The pamphlet contains a sample ballot identifying the candidates, as well as information about early voting, voting center locations and a list of acceptable identification that can be used when voting early or at a voting center location.

Voters can subscribe to an electronic mailing list to obtain the pamphlet electronically. Voters who subscribe will receive an e-mail notification with a link to the pamphlet for each City of Phoenix election.

This pamphlet is available in alternative formats including Braille, large print and audio, upon request. To request an alternative format copy of this pamphlet, please call 602-261-VOTE (8683).  Requests for alternative formats of the pamphlet must be received by Friday, February 17, 2023.
