Contact Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign

Since 2003, the City of Phoenix Human Services Department has implemented an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Campaign.

Every year millions of dollars in tax refunds go unclaimed. That is because people are unaware of the various credits available to them such as the EITC. The EITC is a refundable federal income tax credit for low-income working individuals and families. hoenix provides free tax assistance to thousands of low- and limited-income households. The EITC program has helped families claim more than $6.2 million in federal tax refunds. More than $2.3 million of that was from the Earned Income Tax Credit. Two hundred and sixty-six volunteers recceived free training and gave back 10,880 hours to the community.
