Building Strong Partnerships: Best practices for Teaching Artists Series
Join us for a three-part series designed to strengthen partnerships and practices between art educators and teaching artists. These interactive sessions will explore strategies for collaboration, communication, and community engagement between teaching artists and organizations.
This series is led by Carolyn Hazel Drake, consultant and author of Best Practices Guide for Teaching Artists and Teaching Artists Quick Start Guide, and Dr. Mary McAvoy, co-facilitator for the professional development series.

Help Shape Phoenix’s Mural Guidelines – Multiple Ways to Share Your Voice
The Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture is creating Mural Guidelines to support artists and guide property owners through best practices for the creation of murals in Phoenix, Arizona. These guidelines will cover funding and paying artists for their artwork, contracts, installation, and maintenance—designed with YOUR input.
