Request New Streetlight

Mid-Block Residential Streetlight Request

In January of 1990, the Phoenix City Council approved a reduction in the spacing of streetlights in the City of Phoenix. This change allowed streetlights on residential streets to be spaced approximately 250 feet apart. On most residential streets, this spacing already occurs. If it does not, the street may qualify for the New Streetlight Program.

To initiate the request for the addition of a mid-block streetlight in a residential area, please complete and submit this form. Street Transportation staff will call you to explain the specific process for your particular request. You will be notified within seven working days if the installation of a new streetlight is possible.

If you are looking to report a Traffic Light/Signal issue (Left turn signal, HAWK/Crosswalk, Pedestrian signal), please report it here.
