The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture was created in 1985 to champion and sustain Phoenix's arts and culture community. The office helps to make Phoenix a great place to live, work, and visit.

The office gets support from the Phoenix General Fund, Arizona Commission on the Arts, and National Endowment for the Arts. It is a proud member of Americans for the Arts, Grantmakers in the Arts, and the Phoenix Community Alliance.
