​A set of large backflow prevention devices were painted in geometric patterns of colors from the surrounding landscape. The goal of this naturalized infrastructure project was to transform the functional and necessary but visually prominent and out-of-place devices into visually interesting forms that are integrated with the natural look of the undeveloped desert park.​
