Kaneko’s ten kiln-fired ceramic Dangos— each 5'6" tall – were commissioned for a site in Sky Harbor Airport’s Terminal-4 before being relocated to the Rental Car Center. The artist hand-formed and painted the sculptures and their glazed surfaces. “Dango" is the Japanese word for dumpling.​
