Berry created four transit shelters that serve as a gateway to Sky Harbor International Airport.  The shelters celebrate aviation and flight.  They feature roofs shaped like airplane wings with bird silhouettes built into their profiles.  The columns supporting the roofs are topped with forms resembling jet engines.  Berry's shelters also reflect our local environment.  Their columns are enhanced with river rock from the Rio Salado, and the benches contain impressions of palm fronds.
