Joyce conceived his mural as a place for visitors and locals to meet.  Forty-three of the more than 200 images he shot during a Phoenix photo session were produced as hand-colored, photo-porcelain cutouts on steel.  The mural plays with everyone's fantasy of being able to fly.​
