DeSoto’s etched glass airplane drawings originated from blueprints for 22 historical aircraft. He used a high-energy beam gas laser to etch the drawings and accompanying poems and narratives on the outer surface of the glass. The drawings create a walk through aviation history and ideas as passengers move along the bridge.​
