In 2019, local artist Jeff Zischke was selected to work with a project team to transform the site as the 4th project in the Community Well Enhancement Program. The artist was inspired by conversations at a community meeting held at the site. He then designed four sculptures specifically for this space to tell a story about the neighborhood and our desert environment. The artist started with easily accessible forms so that everyone who visits them can use their imagination and develop ideas about the sculptural pieces.
