Made of welded steel, the Willow Gazebo stands 30 feet tall, with a 30 foot diameter.  The tree’s canopy, which includes approximately 6,000 individually cut leaves, allows dappled sunlight to penetrate the gazebo.  The tree’s leaves, colored gold, copper and bronze, reflect bits of sunlight during the day.  At night, the gazebo is lit from within by six artist-designed lighting fixtures, which hang from the tree’s branches like flowers.  Six brick and stonework seats placed between the gazebo’s archways include historic bricks from the Phoenix Brickyard.  These seats, combined with a circular metal bench placed around the willow tree’s trunk, provide ample seating within.
