LOBBYIST REGISTRATION AND REPORTING 

The City of Phoenix has developed a new, web-based lobbyist registration database to provide a more streamlined way to register and report expenditures and contributions as required by the Phoenix City Code.

The database is available at https://lobbyist.phoenix.gov/

user guide is available to assist in creating and managing accounts, as well as using the system. This guide will be updated based on questions and feedback from users; please continue to visit this site for the most current version of this guide.

Expenditure and campaign contribution reports must be filed quarterly. The reports are due January 15, April 15, July 15 and October 15. If a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the reports will be due on the next business day.

LOBBYIST REGULATIONS AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

​​​​​The city of Phoenix Lobbying Ordinance requires certain individuals to register as a lobbyist. If you are meeting with a City Official (elected official, board or commission member, City Manager and executive staff, or department or function head) for the purpose of influencing action, you may need to register.  To determine if you are required to register as a lobbyist, you may review lobbyist regulations in the Phoenix City Code, Chapter 2, Article XXX. The full text of the code is available here.
