Each December, the Mayor and City Council approve a federal agenda, which defines the city’s federal legislative and regulatory priorities and guides the city’s federal lobbying activities. Government Relations works with the city's contract lobbyists in Washington, D.C. to implement the approved federal agenda and briefs the Mayor and City Council throughout the session to seek direction regarding important bills, amendments and developments.
