Every December, the Mayor and City Council approve a federal agenda that defines the City’s federal legislative and regulatory priorities and guides the City’s federal lobbying activities. Government Relations works with the City's contract lobbyists in Washington, D.C. to implement the approved federal agenda, briefing the Mayor and City Council throughout the session to seek direction regarding important bills, amendments and developments.
