S'edav Va'aki Voted Best Museum!

Because of our community and friends, S’edav Va’aki Museum (SVM) maintains its reputation as the “Gateway to Phoenix Heritage” as it was voted ‘Best Museum’ by Arizona Foothills Magazine for their Best of Our Valley 2026 awards!

This past November, SVM was nominated with many other institutions by the magazine so their readers could vote for the best museum. SVM would like to take a moment to thank the surrounding community for their overwhelming support and for voting for SVM. Our important work is not possible without our volunteers, members, community partners, visitors, and you!

In the following months, SVM has several events and programs for our community of supporters to be excited about. Since the museum reopened this past October, SVM has rolled out a series of programs for our extended hours on Thursday evenings. Every first Thursday of the month, SVM hosts a very special lecture series featuring artists showcased in the Parched: The Art of Water in the Southwest. Every second and fourth Thursday of the month, SVM organizes family activities such as craft nights and game nights. See our website for program details.
